IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) envisions the application of engineering methodologies to the fields of medicine and biology in order to enhance the quality of patient care. We aim for facilitating career development, encouraging interest in the field, contributing to technical standards, forming alliances between institutions and individual researchers. As the world’s largest international society of biomedical engineers our major goal is to spot trace and inform on the latest developments which are going to affect the future of biomedical engineering and healthcare technologies.
EMBS provides access to knowledge and ideas for its 11000 members in 97 countries by bringing different disciplines together in various events such as conferences, panels, summer schools, technical trainings and workshops. Besides, EMBS has a proven potential to actualize interdiciplinary projects as the leading or partnering stakeholder.
IEEE EMBS Turkey Conference, which will be organized for the second time on 6-7 May, 2017 at Yeditepe University, is going to bring experts from healthcare and engineering fields together for a concise cover of what is happening and what will happen in the field, and expects to host interested participants from all disciplines. Come and join us to discover how technology is disrupting healthcare as we know it!
